He is survived by: his caregiver Marcia Johnson (Eric); and his close friends, George Jones, Robert Carter, Del Meggett, Donald Patterson and Johnson. He is also survived by son extended family as well as many cousins and friends.
The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Union Baptist Church (1015 Preston Ave, Charlottesville, VA 22903). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
