He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Wright and Birdie Wright. He is survived by: his wife Melvina Wright of Chase City, VA.; his children, Cheri Wright, Charles Wright (Kathy) and Bryan Wright (Lauren); his stepchildren, Janice Moore (Woody) and Lynn Harris (Holley); and his grandchildren, Brian Howell (Sarah), Shara Howell, James Moore (Rochelle), Cameron Harris, Katey Harris and Ashley Wright.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wood Funeral Service Chapel (28868 VA-49, Chase City, VA 23924).
