It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Britton of Chase City, Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lee Britton and Leana Britton; and his siblings, James, Jack Britton, Selma Henderson and Corine Robinson.

He is survived by : his daughter Lola Ladson of Yemassee, SC; his grandchildren, Michael Shaw of Yemassee, SC, Lee Fennell of Yemassee, SC, Edward Fennell of Yemassee, SC, Crystal Seabrook of Summerville, SC and Brittany Shaw-Brown of Ridgeland, SC; his nephew Harvey Robinson; and his nieces, Deloris Bowling of Chase City, VA, Carolyn Martin of Chase City, VA and Theresa Thornton of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.

William Britton wrote a sympathy message

“I spoke many times with Great Uncle Harvey. Uncle Harvey was the brother of my grandfather, Jack Britton. I am William the son of Anthony T. Britton. We always made plans to go to Virginia but unfortunately never made it to see my great Uncle before he passed. Rest in peace Uncle Harvey.”
