Norma Wirt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 92, Norma Wirt (Chase City, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Norma shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Norma farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Lee Wirt; and her brothers, Alfred, Hershel and Bernard. She is survived by: her children, Karen Foecking (Michael) of Maryland, Sandra Campbell (Roger) of New Mexico, Gary Wirt (Diana) of Missouri and Sean Wirt (Amy) of North Carolina; and her sister Shirley Gilbert. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (206 E 2nd St, Chase City, VA 23924). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Public Fork Christian Church Cemetery (1700 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Red Oak, VA 23964).
