She was predeceased by : her parents, Lucy Johnson Alford and Joe Henry Alford; her husband Garland C. Grant; and her siblings, Mary Jo Scarce and Jim Sidney Hill.
She is survived by : her children, Joseph Elliott Grant (Angie) of Rolesville, NC and Julie Anne Dean (Jeffrey) of Newman, GA; and her grandchildren, Anna Dean, Katie Dean, Winston Grant and Lilly Grant.
