She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Fletcher Watson and Ida Estelle Blair Watson; and her brother Samuel Watson. She is survived by: her husband G. E. Hedrick; her sons, Greg Hedrick (Stacy) of Sandy Level, Jody Hedrick (Jessica) of Chatham and Brandon Hedrick (Jess) of Gretna; her siblings, Tim Watson (Lori) of Pittsville and Libby Pruitt of Chatham; her grandchildren, Shane, Jonathan (Ginnie), Chance, Summer (Zach), Brayden and Luke; and her great grandchildren, Braelynn, Elizabeth, John Wayne, Brayden and Khamdyn. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Bethel Church of the Brethren (313 Lark Dr, Chatham, VA 24531). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
