He is survived by : his wife Sandra Sellers Mitchell; his son Thomas Scott Mitchell of Chatham; his brothers, George Leon Mitchell (Treva) of Chatham and Roger Lee Mitchell of Boydton, VA.; and his siblings-in-law, John Richard Inge and Christine E. Mitchell of Chatham.
