He is survived by: his wife Reba McDaniel; his son James Robert McDaniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Courtney M. Robertson (Guy) and Sierra Whitlow (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Nathan Robertson, Jeorgia Robertson and Judah Gray Whitlow; his nephew Johnny; and his niece Wendy Scearce.
