She was predeceased by : her husband Howard Reed; her son Carlos Reed; her parents, Mamie Link and Henry Link; and her siblings, Catherine Vest, Maleta Walters, Henry Clay and Waskey Link (Infant).

She is survived by : her sisters, Patricia Nichols (Freddie) and Etta Mae Hall; her daughter Carolyn McPeak; her grandsons, Ken Reed and Aaron Reed; her great grandchildren, Kaleb Reed, Alexis Reed (Tyler) and Tiara Reed (Tristan); and her great great grandchild Oakley Raye Thorne.
