She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Rawls Sr.; and her children, Janie Rawls Deaver and David A. Rawls. She is survived by: her children, John Murril Rawls Jr. of Chesapeake, Richard L. Rawls (Debbie) of Chesapeake, W. "Timmy" Rawls Sr. of Chesapeake, Deborah Rawls Whitehead (Dennis) of Norfolk and Johanna Rawls Simmons (Steve) of Chesapeake; and her sister Betty Jean Wells-Smaltz of Norfolk. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
