He was predeceased by: his father Albert Brandtner; his wife Rita J. Thomas; his son Brian K. Brandtner; his sister Linda Wegkamp; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Wegkamp, Frank Thomas and Dianne Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Al Brandtner (Jude Rodriguez) and Dolores Nickerson (Bob Nickerson); his daughter-in-law Meg Brandtner; his granddaughters, Madison Mau (Nathan Mau) and Alexis Rakestraw (Clay Rakestraw); his great grandchild Hunter Brian Mau (HB); and his nephew Frank Thomas (Rhonda Thomas). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
