He was predeceased by: his parents, Gayle Rountree and Ruth Rountree; and his brothers, David and Ron Rountree. He is survived by: his brother Gayle "Sonny" Rountree, Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Rountree and Cheryl Rountree; his nephews, David Rountree, Jr., Daniel Rountree, Ron Rountree, Jr. and Norman Rountree; and his niece Tanya Finley (Harry Finley, Jr.).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oman Funeral Home and Crematory (653 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens (4569 Shoulders Hill Rd, Suffolk, VA 23435).
