She is survived by: her children, Angel Choate Claggion and Cameron Choate; her brothers, Darrell Parson and Sheldon Parson (Rita); her grandchildren, Deandre Newby, Ava Choate Rippey, Alani Choate Claggion and India Jackson; and her sister-cousins, Janice Jackson, Sandra Bishop and Pam Blanco.
