She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas E. Jacobs; and her siblings, Rosemarie Starnes (Ryszka) and Al Ryszka. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne Jacobs and Mary Gedon (Jacobs); her grandchildren, Emily Jacobs Hyon (Tristan), Caroline Jacobs, Sam, Andy and Juliana Gedon; and her sisters, Delores Ryszka Gunnersen (Lorrie) and Ellen Ryszka Wlodarczyk. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews and their children.
Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Virginia Beach SPCA, or the Chesapeake Humane Society.
