She is survived by: her children, Carol C. Mayo (Mike), Nanette C. Cartwright (Ray) and William H. Cartwright III (Terri); her stepsons, Robert F. Armstrong, Richard E. Armstrong (Patricia) and Roy L. Armstrong (Amanda); her grandsons, Jeff Mayo, Kevin Cartwright (Natalie) and William Cartwright (Bud); her stepgrandchildren, Jacob Hart and Claire Rathavongsa; her great grandchildren, Brantley Cartwright (Kevin), Braydon Gomila-Abernathy (Kevin), Nellie Cartwright (Will) and Everett Cartwright (Will); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Lucy Hart (Jacob), John Rathavongsa (Claire), Cecilia Rathavongsa (Claire) and Ezekiel Rathavongsa (Claire).
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Great Bridge Baptist Church in Chesapeake or to the Women's Missionary Union (Care of Great Bridge Baptist Church, Chesapeake).
