She is survived by: her husband Chris Ligon; her son Xander; her parents, William Don Malpass Jr. and Kathryn Holloway; her brother William Don Malpass III (Amanda Malpass); her sibling's children, Virginia Grace and Liam; her grandparents, William Don Malpass Sr. and Betty Malpass; her uncle Michael Malpass; her aunts, Susan Mercer (Tom), Betty "Winkie" Malpass, Martha Leeanna Malpass-Hauert (Aaron) and Sarah Malpass; her grandparents, Jim and Patricia Holloway; her aunt Christina Jones (Ralph); her uncle Rick Stebbins; her mother-in-law Linda Ligon; her sister-in-law Christina Ligon-Guyet; her niece Tzipporah Guyet; and her pets, Lola, Jack and Ashley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ashley's memory to the Norfolk SPCA, honoring her lifelong dedication to animals.
