She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Harshaw and Margaret F. Harshaw; and her husband Ralph J. Merritt. She is survived by: her children, Beth Walker (Doug), Ellen Levin (Johnny) and Jay Merritt; her grandchildren, Merritt Walker (Regina), Lauren Walker, Nate Levin and Will Levin; her great grandchild Dante; and her brother Dr. William G. Harshaw (Carolyn). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
