She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stancill and Naomi Stancill; her husband Roy Leon Penland; and her grandsons, Paul Tolson, IV and Ryan Penland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bridget Segarra, Robin Pullen (Jerry Chappell), Kimberly Knowles (Michael Dennis) and Shelly Martinez (David); and her grandchildren, Brandon, Dereck, Cameron, Zachary, Spencer, Faith, Jeremiah, Sophia and Alaina. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
