He was predeceased by: his wife Tracey Rebecca Goddard; his sons, Bennie Goddard, Jr. and Nicholas "Nick" Goddard; his mother Ailene G. Roush; his stepfather William "Bill" Roush; his father William Russell Goddard; and his siblings, Linda G. Rodriquez, Maggie G. Whitfield, Betty Goddard, Jeanie G. West and Dennis Goddard.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Victoria Grace Goddard (Alana Roberts) and Becca Michelle Sawyer; his siblings, Robert Goddard (Terri) of Rocky Mount, NC, Robert "Bobby" Roush (Faye) of Portsmouth, VA and Patricia "Pat" Bryant (Mike) of Rocky Point, NC; and his daughter-in-law Leslie Goddard of South Mills, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
