She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Ray Short; her sons, Larry Ray Short (Connie) and Terry Lee Short (Donna); and her granddaughter Angela Dawn Torgerson. She is survived by: her brother Wendell Lusk of Wellston, OH; and her children, Kathy Short Hewitt (Owen) of Williamsburg, Karen Short Balsamo (Lawrence) of Chesapeake and Jerry Auburn Short (Vickie) of Nokesville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
