He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Hayes and Caroline Hayes; and his grandmother Lily Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Kasandra; his grandchildren, Kamyron, Kristopher, Kandyce and Isaiah; and his siblings, Cynthia Hampton, Sharon Blakey and Steven Edison.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Deep Creek Baptist Church (250 Mill Creek Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA 23323).
