It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce J. Hicks Jr. in Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Hicks and Helen Hicks; and his brother Steven Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cochran Hicks; his children, Holly H. McCoy (Jeremy) of Chesapeake and Eliot R. Hicks of Virginia Beach; his sister Lora H. Hamilton (Kirby) of Jacksonville, Florida; his sister-in-law Nicki Hicks of Chesapeake; his granddaughters, Ariel and Alana McCoy; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley C. Falk (Joe), Kathy Johnson and Brenda W. Cochran. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, cousins, coworkers, neighbors, friends.
