Hastings; his daughters, Katrina Hastings and Kristin Kunkle (Brian); his grandchildren, Emma Kunkle (Roger Patierno) and Brandon Kunkle (Stephanie Ruiz); his great grandchild Jesse Patierno; and his sibling's children, Sharon Jascula (Brad), Michelle Daignault, Jeffrey Daignault, Chief Master Sergeant, U. S. Air Force, Ret (Jackie) and Steven Hastings (Joy).
He made regular donations to Boys Town and The Union Mission.
