We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Carol Delane Whitfield (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Wadesboro, North Carolina. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Carol Delane Whitfield to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hanna and Effie Hanna. She is survived by: her husband James "Sam" A. Whitfield, Sr.; her son James A. Whitfield, Jr. (Sherri-Lyn); her grandson Trenton; her stepson Mark Whitfield (Kathy); and her stepgrandchildren, Sarah and Brandon. She is also survived by siblings and extended family.

In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made to Great Bridge United Methodist Church marked endowment fund.
