It is with sadness that the passing of Caroline K. Stevenson of Chesapeake, Virginia is shared. Caroline, born on March 4, 1942, passed away on August 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Caroline will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Caroline by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Caroline is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Caroline’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank and Janie Watson Kelly; her husband Carroll W. Stevenson; and her siblings, James Kelly, Barbara K. Stewart and Jane K. Lis.
She is survived by: her son William K. Stevenson (Lisa Hunt Stevenson); her grandson Austin R. Stevenson; and her aunt Nancy Marshall. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Briggs Funeral Home and Crematory (1748 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
