With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Etheridge Aunchman (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Etheridge and Elizabeth "Betty" Etheridge. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Chuck" Aunchman; her stepdaughter Angela Petersen; her children, Shaun Aunchman and Kristin Zavorka (Dan); her grandchildren, Kyle Petersen, Payton and Maddux Zavorka; and her brothers, Tommy Etheridge (Andrea) and Daniel Etheridge (Pam).

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Norfolk Chapel (1501 Colonial Ave, Norfolk, VA 23517).

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity of your choice in her name, such as the American Cancer Society.
