She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph D. Smith; and her parents, Lillian Rosina Evers Awes and Elden Morten Awes. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bob" Elden Woods (Midge) of Chesapeake, VA, Richard D. Woods (Mary) of Escondido, CA and Susan Arlene Carpenter (Ray) of Yuma, AZ.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends.
