She was predeceased by: her parents, John Columbus and Annie Isabel Monroe Daves; her husband Dr. Clayton L. Beal; and her sister Mary Wells. She is survived by: her children, Donald Beal (Debra) of Virginia Beach and Susan Lawley (John) of Lafayette, IN; her siblings, John C. Daves, Jr. (Mary Kay) of Stanton, VA and Patricia Spencer (Eddy) of Chesapeake; and her grandchildren, Shantelle Reckmeyer, Shane Beal (Lauren Blinsinger), Cassandra Black, Tucker Black, Jennifer E Tessier, John F. Lawley II and Michelle D. Marshall (Jonathan). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
