He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James McNally and Patsy McNally; his wife Victoria; his children, Navy, Subic Bay, Philippines, Jesse McNally of Boston, Massachusetts, Frances McNally Neilson (Dane) of Abu Dhabi and Anthony McNally (Rebekah) of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; his grandchildren, Emilia, Madelyn and Gabriel McNally; and his brothers, James McNally (Kathy) of Dallas, Texas, Robert McNally (Carol) of Dallas, Texas and Stephen McNally (Cherie) of Richmond, Virginia. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
