Charles Ray Edwards Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Ray Edwards of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gilbert and Mildred Edwards; his sister Becky; his brother-in-law Bob Groves; his brother Everette; and his sister-in-law Lynn Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Della Edwards; his daughters, Cindy (Joe Wrightson) and Christy (Dennis McQueeney); his grandchildren, Cody Wrightson (Amy), Tyler Wrightson, Brenden McQueeney and Erin McQueeney; his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Emery Wrightson; and his sisters, Lois Woolard, Dee Peschel and Betty Willis (Porky). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Adult Class at Kingdom Life Ministries.
