She is survived by: her sons, Darren Vance (Mariela) and Darrel Vance (Rooter); her grandchildren, Nicole Channa (Baltej), Rebekah Fortenberry (Corey) and Cody Vance; her great grandchild Gaston Channa; her nephew James Garret (Gayle); and her niece Sandy Nesbitt (Norman).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chesapeake Baptist Church (1101 Burns St, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
