He is survived by: his father Lewis Nelson; his stepmother Glenny; his brother Zachary (Ari); his daughters, Kirsten, Makayla and Ari; his stepsiblings, Scott and Bethany (Todd); his aunts, Ligaya and Tracey; and his uncle Mark. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
