She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cartwright and Leona Cartwright; and her husband Wallace Elliott Piland, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Bagwell (Rue) of Chesapeake, VA., Brenda Rountree of Virginia Beach, VA., Wallace "Wally" Piland, Jr. (Patricia) of Kitty Hawk, NC. and Michael Piland (Stephanie) of Chesapeake, VA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chesapeake Memorial Gardens (524 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
