She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred L. Dodd and Emalene J. Wooten; her husband Richard D. Turitto; her siblings, Karen Zigenbein, Susan Vough and Richard Lethcoe; her siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Dodd and William Zigenbein; and her nieces and nephews, Jason Zigenbein, Amber Simmons, Terry Dodd and Gary Dodd II.
She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Cormier (Nathan) of San Diego, CA and Dr. Candace Turitto of Laurel, MD; her granddaughters, Breanna Cormier of San Diego, CA and Sarina Cormier of San Diego, CA; and her siblings, Linda Creef Owens (Ed) of Virginia Beach and Gary D. Dodd of Portsmouth, VA.
In lieu of gifts, the family asks for donations in her memory to one of the organizations that she supported: CHKD, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Humane Society.
