It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel F. Walston (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Sylvester S. Walston; and his wife Patricia Walston. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lewis, Dannette Phelps (Jim) and Richard Walston (Liz); his stepchildren, Meredith Snyder, Amanda Powell (Sam) and Billy Whitley, Jr. (Christina); his brother Robert Walston; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, Raven, Christian, Allison, Emily, Wesley, Megan, Brady, Ethan and Matthew. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
