He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Laughlin and Daniel Laughlin; his siblings, Kevin Laughlin, Kathleen Morgan, Maureen Maxwell and Peggy Amabali; his son David Laughlin, Jr.; and his grandson Bryce Patrick Laughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Laughlin; his children, Colleen Magness (Danny), Kerry Grissom (Taylor) and Kevin Laughlin (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Daniel Magness, Michael Tyler Magness, Preston Grissom, Emilee Grissom, Alyssa Laughlin and Payton Grissom; his stepgrandchildren, Nick, Ben, Allison and John Ryan; and his siblings, Joan Labeck and James Laughlin. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David M. Laughlin, Sr. Memorial Fund, for the benefit of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
