He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Bateman and Brenda Cranch Bateman. He is survived by: his wife Denise Bateman; his daughters, Lindsay Kelley (Brian) of Virginia Beach and Taylor Payne (Scott) of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Olivia, Curren and Mira Kelley; his sister Karen Roeske; his nephew Jay Mines of Florida; and his caregiver Barbara Evans. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
