He is survived by: his wife JoAnn B. Wade; his children, Kristi Tucker (Bob), David Wade, Jr. and Lori Kellam; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ham, Jason Smithdeal (Chae), Jaime Adams, Jordan Adams (Brookelynn), Brinton Moncrief and Kristin Fearing (Ricardo); his great grandchildren, Alec Smithdeal (Devon), Devon Frye, Rhiannon Christiansen (Chris), Christiana Adams, Jaylyn Asble, Trent Asble, Logan Ham, Reaghan Smithdeal, Mayla Adams, Bankx Adams, Luciana Fearing and Babygirl Fearing; his great great grandchildren, Quinn, Casey, Wyatt Christiansen, Adalyna Lapaix, Babyboy Smithdeal and Baby Lapaix; and his brothers, Joe Wade (Angie), Jay Wade and Mike.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Continued Fellowship.
In lieu of flower's, his family suggests a donation be made in Mike's memory to The Gideons International or Kempsville Volunteer Rescue Squad (PO Box 62345, Virginia Beach, VA 23466-9905) who were so helpful during his illness.
