It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Snead Tucker of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Ware Snead and Bernard Meriweather Snead, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Roger Allen Tucker; her daughter Elizabeth Barnes (James); her sisters, Sandra Hawthorne and Linda Toms; her stepdaughters, Lisa Tucker, Lori Goldwag (Stuart) and Cheryl McGruder (Jon); her grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Michael Stewart, Alexine Polumbo, Jordan Goldwag and Dylan McGruder; and her great grandchild Stella.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church or a favorite charity.
