Denise A. Macklin Obituary
We announce the death of Denise A. Macklin (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. Macklin; her parents, Gilbert Strother and Virginia Strother; and her siblings, Gwendolyn, Richard, Virginia, Gilbert, Reginald and Linda-Marie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Keisha, Quiana, Naarah and Jenevielle; her grandchildren, Jeremiah, Tanaya, Eliza, Navae and Nehemiah; and her siblings, Sandra, Michelle, William, Williette and Judy. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home & Crematory (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Continued Fellowship.
