It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Isaac Hodnett in Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hodnett and Joseph Hodnett; his wife Alice Faye Hodnett; and his daughter Angela R. Foreman. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Faye Hodnett of Washington, DC, D. Isaac Hodnett, II of Stockholm, Antonio Gardner of Suffolk, VA, Anthony Gardner of Chesapeake, VA and Valerie Butts of Carrollton, VA; and his siblings, Peter Hodnett of Nashville, NC and Lillie Butts (Hodnett) of Washington, DC.
