He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Doherty and Jane Doherty; his wife Sandi Doherty; and his brother John Doherty. He is survived by: his sister Diane Stephen; his significant other Melanie; his daughter Traci Miele; his son-in-law Jesse Miele; his stepson Mat Dees; his grandchildren, Jessica and Thomas Miele; and his great grandchildren, Roland and Mia Miele.
In lieu of flowers, Don has requested that contributions be made to the Hearing Loss Association of America in his name.
