With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Snipes of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2021 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Snipes and Elizabeth Holton Snipes; and his former wife Barbara T. Snipes. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Snipes; his children, Pauline Hundley (Donald) of Portsmouth, VA, David A. Snipes (Kay) of York, VA and Donna M. Edge (Kirk) of Cypress, TX.; his grandchildren, Kelly Sawyer, Brittany Clifton, Kimberly Glidewell, Dylan Edge and Allison Edge; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Lee, Landon Gibson, Ruth Glidewell and Owen Sawyer.
