She was predeceased by: her parents, Lazarus Henry Futrell and Fannie Mae Futrell; her daughter Tanya Hopkins; and her siblings, Lloyd Futrell and Trudy Spady.
She is survived by: her husband Chief Apostle Howard L. Gales Sr.; her children, Tarena J. Caffee and Stephanie White (Ricky W.) of Va; and her siblings, Moncure Futrell and Shirley Dickerson. She is also survived by Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
