It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Etheridge of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Lee and Esther Mae Lee Etheridge; and his wife Renee Mayor Etheridge. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Stretar (John), Elizabeth Gettens (Chris) and Edward L. Etheridge, Jr. (Angela); and his grandchildren, Anthony Bowes, Jr., Shanna Coughenour, Jacob and Shawn Etheridge.
