She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula George Long and William Long Jr.; her sister Pamela Long Wilson; her son William Chad Gray; and her siblings, Bobby Johnson, Betty Nelson and Emmanual "JoJo" Redding.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Valarie Gray Turner of Mitchellville, MD, Eula Gray Edler (Ernest) of Suffolk, VA, Chuck Gray (Melissa) of Virginia Beach, VA and Nakkia S. Gray of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Brianna Gaiter (Tevin), Jalen Gray, Aiyana Gray, Jordan Edler and Chase Gray; her great grandchildren, Jasmine Jones, Leilani Gray, Amari Gaiter and Yara Robertson; her nieces, Ja'Nay Young, Gia Drakeford and Dashia Golden; and her siblings, Felice Thompson, Paul "Gene" Johnson, Renee Redding-Jones, William Collins and Brenda Greene. She is also survived by cousins and many loving friends.
