She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edward West, Sr.; her parents, Charles Tazewell Burke and Virgie Burke Norman; her siblings, Charles Tazewell Burke, Jr. and Vivian Bruce; her brother-in-law Jack; her nephew Frankie Malone; her cousins, Bonnie Noble Smith, Richard Noble, Mike Noble and Andy Smith; and her aunt Geneva Noble.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy West Poe, Kathy West Simmons and Charles Edward; her grandchildren, Amie Dail, Todd West (Amber), Matthew Simmons (Jennifer) and Zachary Simmons (Terra); her great grandchildren, Jamie Jensen (Joe), Charlotte Simmons, Lillian Simmons and Charles Simmons; her great great grandchildren, Aubrie Herring and Amelia Jensen; her nieces, Marcia Arthur (Tom) and Susan Malone; her nephew David Bruce (Wanda); and her cousins, Patsy Southard (Bob) and Jean Kennedy (Ron).
