She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Roberta Best and Adam Eugene Best; her husband Vernon McCray Hodges, Sr.; and her daughter Linda Lewis of Chesapeake. She is survived by: her children, Vernon McCray Hodges, Jr. of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Jennifer Hodges of Chesapeake. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
