It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Poff Forehand of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Poff and Rena Poff; her husband Sandford A. Forehand; and her stepsiblings, Al Rawls and Shirley Jean Elliott.
She is survived by: her stepmother Sarah Poff; her children, Erie Forehand (Kelly), Collin Forehand Chesapeake (Shawn), Mary Fehrs of Charlotte, NC, Linda Dunaway of Chesapeake and Rena Creef of Chesapeake; and her sister Doris Tarkington-Brinkley of Suffolk. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
