With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eugene Bennett Litchfield Sr. (Chesapeake, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Litchfield and Virginia Litchfield; and his sons, Eugene "Butch" Litchfield, Robbie A. Litchfield and Michael W. Litchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Parker Litchfield; his daughters, Teresa A. Watkinson (Nibs) and Deborah L. Curling-Palermo; his stepdaughters, Sharon A. Harwick (Phil) and Janet L. Carpenter (Mark); and his sisters, Betty and June.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (1000 E Indian River Rd, Norfolk, VA 23523).
